microhphone problem (logitech quickCam Pro 4000)

I just bought a new camera with microphone the microphone is built in, I test the record sound and is working well but when I go to msn messenger the people can see me but they cannot hear me. I try with different people and computor.
I'm been trying to fix this problem about one week I call Dell, MSN, and logitech and no body get the solution. My windows is xp and the computor is DELL 8300 is a new computer. my MSN messenger is 6.1.
 
I have had this exact same problem and it was very frustrating. It has however now been resolved. Hopefully this will work
Click "start
click "control panel
double click "network connections
right click on Local area connection, then go to "properties
uncheck "QoS Packet Scheduler
Restart compute
Then try messenge

This worked on mine. Good luck
