Micro ATX Biostar questions

Anyway to disable some of the 64MB shared memory? Using this board on
a cruncher and don't need any video really. Anyone get the
overclocking utility to load in Win98SE? Just won't start. Says you
need atleast DX8.1. Maybe having DX9 is the trouble. Any help much
appreciated.

I had the same problem with a different app. I don't know if the same fix
will work for you, but I was able install the app after changing the DirectX
version in the registry (and after the install, I changed it back)

Here's how:

Run Regedit.

Go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/DIRECTX

You will see a key named "Version" with a number something like
"4.09.00.0902"

WRITE THAT NUMBER DOWN SO YOU CAN CHANGE BACK TO IT LATER!

Now, change that number to "4.08.01.0810"

Close regedit.

Do whatever you need to do with your app. When you're done, follow the same
staeps above and change the number back to the original value that you wrote
down earlier.
