I am looking at a cordless mouse... and did not relly like the MX1000 (or whatever the amazing one is)

But, i found this one!

http://www.logitech.co.uk/index.cfm/products/details/GB/EN,CRID=2135,CONTENTID=9340

Please take a look, and tell me what you think. i have a couple of questions:

1) do you think the remote controlls will work with any DVD player, or just Windows Media, or Media centre opperating system?

2) does anyone know what the reciever looks like?

Thanks

The mouse looks like it will only work as a remote for Windows Media life. And the reciever will probably be built into the stand.

It looks like a nice mouse, but i couldnt find anywhere to tell you if its optical or ball. If its ball i wouldnt go near it with a 10 foot barge pole, they just feel useless after optical and laser. Also its power by batteries, which is always a let-down for a wireless mouse. I'd just go in for the MX1000 no doubt.

How else are you planning on powering a mouse except on batteries?

I didn't think of looking as to wether it is optical, i just assumed it would be!

It is optical. It says so right in the top line of that link.

The MX1000 uses a rechargeable battery cell, built in, so it's not strictly speaking a couple of traditional batteries, such as AA or AAA cells.

Looks like a good mouse to me - how much is it?

£35.00 is this reasonable? (from Dabs)
Seems reasonable to me, yes. If you like all the extras it has, seems good.

But for a little more you could get the Logi MX700, cordless, optical, great for gaming.

Depends what you favour the most, really, but if you've taken a shine to that mouse you linked to, go for it :)

I like it, yeah!

But, there is no point in getting it if it will not work with "Intervideo WinDVD"

Controls MediaLife™ software, and most other media players

Well, it says "most other" so, i think i will go for it!

Thanks Guys!
