One of my contacts uses adelphia.net, and when she sends emails with
attachments and I download the attachment, it is an MHTML document and IE 6
or IE7 won't open these. I either get a blank page or one with random
letters or symbols. How can I open these attachments?

Hi A,

I did a quick google http://www.google.com/search?q=mhtml documents

and it appears that there are a number of reasons why these files will not
open properly in your browser. One that stands out is the way that these
'mht' files are built and bundled together with the images that they
contain. Apparently all images are converted to gif's and I am thinking that
your friends attachments contain images other than gifs that are not being
converted correctly. I would suggest that she sends the files as links
embeded in the body of the email document (elm) instead. If they are links
to saved web documents on here own computer she can open them in word first
and them save them as .doc s (word documents) and then attache them to here
emails.

Regards.
