Can someone give me the KB article for minimum harware
requirements for W2K?

Depends on what you want the machine to do. I have an old 486 DX4-100
running Win2k for NAT. It idles at 10% CPU. The KB article says Pentium 133
is minimum- sorry can't find the number at the moment. But once Win2k loads
the hardware abstraction layer it looks like any other AT compatible
machine.
 
This may be of interest, depending on what you're really after:

From the W2k CD run
winnt32.exe /checkupgradeonly

With that parameter (which does not exist for winnt.exe) no install will
occur. The installer will simply inspect the machine's hardware (and
some software IIRC), issue an HTML-style report on potential problems
found (often with suggested workarounds), and close. You can then
inspect/print/etc that report. Quick & easy.
