Is there a way to cleanup the MFT file?
I keep getting a back up error for an unnamed file 6772.
I have tried every utility I know of to defrag and clean
files but this file never moves. It is at 13% into my
backup.
Thanks

If you've already run a CHKDSK /F /R on this drive and CHKDSK hasn't found
any errors, then I think that you first need to identify what file that file
id 6772 is.

One way to tell is to install PerfectDisk, analyze the drive, click on
View/Lookup File name from ID and plug in that fileid. PD should be able to
tell you the complete name/path of that file and then you can go from there
to address.
