we changed isp to Mfire and then changed back to the same
isp that i had before. I removed Mfire from my computer
every where i could find it but it is still there.right
now at the top of my screen it says microsoft newsgroups-
Mfire and it does that with every program that i open up.
it is causing me a lot of headaches because a lot of times
it comes up and says cannot find Mfire and most of the
time i have to restart my computer and lately that's all
i've been doing. i have windows xp please rush help before
i take this computer to bill gates's house and blow it up
on his front lawn just kidding thanks

Hi Robert,

All kidding aside, nobody is responsible for Mfire branding
your Windows files except for... Mfire themselves. It would
be a lot easier for you to repair your Windows files like this:
--
Unplug from your Internet connection, and then repair Windows:
using this method: http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

Afterwards, boot up your system, turn on your XP Internet Firewall,
plug back into your Internet connection and install all Critical and
Recommended updates from: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
--
Remove any reference you see for Mfire in your Startups using:

--

I hope those help you Robert, and Happy Holidays! :-)
