I am currently using VC++ .net Version 2002. I have
noticed that when I deploy .dll files to a windows 2000
server (service pack 4)I get an error message stating that
the mfc70.dll can not be found. I can however deploy a
window service that was written using MFC and VC++.net and
it works just fine without the mfc70.dll. Do .dll files
compiled with VC++ .net Version 2002 require the
mfc70.dll? I have also seen cases where the mfc70.dll has
been copied to the system directory and the .dll compiled
with VC++ .net complains that other .dll files are
needed. Does the .net framework need to be installed on
all machines that a .dll compiled in VC++ .net Version
2002 is deployed to?
Thanks,
