Yes, I noticed this too, I was downloading software off download.com and
these bunch windows popped up and installed a litter of spyware on my PC,
Spyware removed them from my account but it was still affecting other user
accounts on the PC.
 
The product seems to work although I didn't have any
spyware to start off with.
I tested it by going to a page with comet cursor available.
One problem. I clicked to install comet and it did.
Instead of blocking the installation MS Antispyware allowed
it to install and then removed it. In my book that isn't
really "real time protection." What happens when you come
across something like the latest version of VX2 that is
almost impossible to remove? That is definitely a feature
I would like to see changed.
