Heidi Linda

My boyfriend brought this article to my attention, about
tracking of newsgroup posts and working out who's the
most 'useful' there.
http://news.com.com/2008-1082_3-5065298.html
and then brought my attention to this related page.

If you scroll down a bit, you'll see our list of most
valuable posters:

The top 10 includes Andy, Lynda, Syed and Ravi from MS
(Jon only makes 11th but would be 10th if Andy wasn't in
twice) and from the great unwashed, Doug Hoeffel, Gianluca
Facca, Brad Coombs, Mario Dambauer, and *cough* me.

It does seem that the code they've got there works,
because those names are exactly the ones I would expect to
see.

BTW,
Glad you're back in the newsgroups, we missed you Heidi, your sense of humor
had grown on me <grin>

Without the help from our "regulars", assisting in the newsgroup would be a
painful job.

Everyone's participation is *greatly* appreciated! Thank you.

Ah, but does it count the number of Google searches done
on this newsgroup? I'm sure I'd make the top ten. :-)

Be careful, if the Heidi virus gets hold of the entire
system, you'll need to give all your friends the URL of
the american/english dictionary, so they can work out what
the hell you're talking about...

I doubt my boss feels the same about me doing this on work
time, but oh well. Course if anyone needs an XPe
consultant...
