thank you for the last bit of help it has done that!!!
how do i also stop automatically logging in when i open
messenger..i share a computer.. so if someone else clicks
messenger it automatically opens mine

next time you log in to messenger there will be no email addresse displayed so you will have to enter your email and password in full
i had to log back in and out for this to take effect.
