I would like to stop messenger from loading at startup. In |XP I was able to
disable it in services, but cannot find an entry there that points to
msmsgr.exe.

Thanks for the info. Stopped it from loading, also many thanks for your
input in this NG solved lots of probs just by "lurking" over the last 6
months
