Messenger V 5

Whatever happened to Messenger Version 5. ?
I upgraded to this version on three of my family PC's and all work well with
video conference etc (internationally). Here here in the US I can only find
version 4.7. and I can't get it video to work via a Belkin wireless router.

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi Piscou,

This link does take you to the Microsoft site actually, but if you mean the actual Windows
Messenger 5 site (at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/messenger), it's been gone for awhile
(I have yet to hear why).

Thanks for the link to download Windows Messenger 5.0,
but why is it not on the Windows Messenger web site? Why
does Windows Update still distribute 4.7? Is there a
problem with 5.0?
