Hi All
I know this is an XP forum, but here goes anyway...
This is an odd one!
Running Messenger 8.1?? under Vista Home Plus and trying to have a webcam conversation.
Everything checks out under the Audio/Video setup wizzard. (Nice video, Speakers work and Microphone bar graph moves as I talk)
However when I start a WebCam conversation, the microphone volume in the bottom right hand side won't move from the bottom, and no audio is heard at the other end. It's like it's stuck in mute mode, but clicking mute has no effect.
Any ideas folks? It's driving my Wife crazy as she likes to talk to her parents and can't at the moment..
Failing that, has anyone access to older version of messenger to try?
Mark
