Dear all,
I am using messenger 6.2 with Windows XP (SP1).
Problem:
When I start the XP, the messenger logs in automatically as normal.
Until the point where we usually see other friends on line, the
messenger shuts down (not hiding).
I have used "Ctrl + Alt + Del" to see if the msnmsgr.exe is there..
nope it's not there. It's gone. I have to restart the messenger
again.. it happens again.
I have tried couple ways to uninstall it.
1. Use the remove function from the setup program
2. Use Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel
3. Exit the messenger, then delete the folder "MS Messenger" by typing
"%appdata%\microsoft" in the Start -> Run
The only thing that I have not tried is to reinstall the OS…
any comments would be great~
