Neither. Vista provides a link to download Windows Live Messenger, but there isn't actually
a Messenger client included.

Thanks, that's too bad that Windows Messenger won't be developped any
further. But which messenger client should I use for Live Communication
Server? I don't want our staff start to play live-games. that's why I like
Windows messenger. Just plain audio/video/keyboard communication.
Windows Messenger 5.1 works on Vista fine, you'll just have to install/deploy it separately.
You can use either that or Office Communicator (if you have the appropriate licenses to do
so). For LCS, I prefer Communicator myself.

You'll need to use Office Communicator to access LCS on Vista.
