Is there someone who can tell me where i can find the identities for
messenger in windows xp.
When i open messenger i can login with several names, some of these names i
want to remove.
Thanks.

Sorry it's not in English completely, but I'm sure most of you'll understand
it.

Delete het bestand 'credentials' uit de map
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application
Data\Microsoft\Credentials\[id]\
Reboot hierna direct de PC en alle opgeslagen wachtwoorden zijn verdwenen.
Binnen Messenger kan gewoon weer een nieuwe account worden ingesteld. Het
'credentials' bestand wordt automatisch opnieuw aangemaakt

This is the one I know of if your running Windows XP

1. In Start menu select Run
2. Enter: "control userpasswords2"
3. Go to Advanced tab
4. Select Manage Passwords Button
5. Add or Remove items at will.

And I've just learned this way in the last 48 hours, thanks to Jonathan Kay

"You can remove Passports in the sign in list by clicking the Start Button, then
click the Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your
account name, and then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click
'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that opens, you can remove accounts by
clicking the passport you wish to delete [denoted by (Passport)], and then click the
'Remove' button."

Have a great day
