messenger for exchange and LCs

We are looking to migrate our present Exchange 2000 IM to LCS
How can we migrate and maintain communication between both? Or is this
possible?

You may want to repost this in the Live Communications Group, but from a Windows Messenger
5.x prospective, yu can connect to both services so you can actually have both up.
