Messenger 6.2 doesn't work with firewall

I installed Messenger 6.2 and now it doesn't work with my
Norton Firewall 2002. If I disable it, it works fine,
and Messenger 6.1 worked just fine with my firewall
turned on.

Any ideas???!
 
Me again, I have to change the program from "auto
configed" to "permit all" to make it work, which I feel
it's kinda risky.
