Hello,
I would like to read the email messages which I got during the day on
a second computer;
frst computer is running Outlook XP and
second computer is running Outlook 2000.

I probably will have to search all messages for a special day, say
2003/10/28.
Is this still possible in XP ?

Then export these messages ? Do I have to do this one by one ?

Which is the easiest/most reliable way that it can be done ?

Any help is appreciated - more detail help is very welcome, as I am
running these Outlook programs in Japanese. If I get the exact name of
the menu entry in English, I can find it in Japanese much easier.

Thank you
Michael

How about a different approach?

If your email is being downloaded from a web/email site, and you are using
POP3, then why don't you simply configure Outlook on your first PC to leave
a copy of your email on the server? Then on your 2nd PC, configure it to
delete the emails from the web server when you download.

I do that all the time. I go to a customer site, and have an email account
set up in Outlook, and download and review my messages, but leave a copy up
on the server. Then when I get home, Iretrieve the same emails again, and
then have Outlook automatically delete them from the server.

It's all done in your E-mail account setup, under the Advanced tab. There's
an option labeled: "Leave a copy of messages on server"

Yes, personally I would choose for both computers to leave a copy on the
server for x number of days. This way I don't have to wonder which one to
synch first.
