Messagebox does not show any text

Hi,

I just started my first .net project with visual studio and c# and have got
a problem which seems quite strange to me: Alle messageboxes in my program
don't show any content i. e. neither the message itself nor the caption of
the ok-button is visible. I also tried a little VB-project and it's the
same. So I think there must be a problem with my .net framework?!

I already deinstalled and reinstalled the .net framework and visual studio
but that didn't solve the problem.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Could you post a short but complete program which demonstrates the
problem?

After deactivating buffer-overflow-check of McAfee 8 everything works fine.
