Hi there,
I have the following problem: when I want to start a
program from a mapped networkdrive, I get the 'File
Download'-message from IE telling me that the file
potentially can destroy my computer. I cannot disable
the 'Always ask before opening this type of file'. The
problem also occurs when I start a shortcut from a mapped
networkdrive or from the startmenu, which resides on the
network.
If I start the program using the UNC-path, the program
starts normally.
This happens for all users: normal users and
administrators alike.
I'm using Windows XP desktops and Windows 2000 servers
with ActiveDirectory enabled. I checked all GPO's for both
machines and users, disabled them, but it doesn't resolve
my problem.
I also reset the security-zones from IE to default etc. at
no avail.
I hope someone can help me!
Thanks in advance!!
