Message when contact has returned

Messenger6. Is it possible to get a get a noticefication
when a contact returnes to his/hers PC after being away for
a while? In other words: I would like to get a message when
a certain contact comes back to the PC. It should be almost
as if the contact logged on to Messenger. My request is
however only to a selected contact, not to them all.

Hope you understand my question.

Trillian... :-(

I was wondering if the feature was available in Messenger6.

Your contacts don't need to install it, it accesses the MS network. However according to recent news
report MS is going to change their network next month in a way that will stop access from 3rd party
programs like Trillian. On the other hand people usually find a way round these things eventually...
