Hello- Had a frustrating day with windows mail. I've got a message stuck in
the outbox and am unable to delete it, move it or modify it in any way.
everytime I try, I get a message stating that I cannot delete or move
message. I believe that because this message is stuck in the oubox, it is
keeping me from being able to send any messages. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

Be sure to Control Alt Delete and close all instances of WinMail.

That should be CTRL-SHIFT-ESC.

Just wanted to say that this also did nothing to help me.

Interesting... this is the first case, to my knowledge, that
hasn't been cured by Wmutil. Did you get any errror message?

Which anti virus package are you using?

I have had this problem myself and until Microsoft produces a fix the best
thing I suggest is using a web based e-mail and discontinue using this new
Windows Mail. It truly has a problem.
I had a message stuck in my outbox and couldn't do anything with it and it
also prevented me from sending any mail at all, and then contacting Dell and
going through many hoops to try to repair it resulting in having to re-format
the hard drive. What a pain. I hope Microsoft doesn't sweep this under the
rug and address this in a service pack.

Speaking of service packs has anyone heard about one for Vista yet which
hopefully will address this problem?
