Message stuck in outbox, can't open, delete etc.

I want to remove the messasge in the outbox. Some solutions suggest going off
line- under Tools - Favourite Folders- Mail Box Clean up BUT I can't find
those choices to follow through on - using Outlook 2007

Don't know where you got that from -
File-Work offline.
Close Outlook.
Re-open Outlook.
Go to Outbox, delete email.
File-Work online.

If that doesn't work, try this:

Within Outlook;
File> Work Offline
Dont know where you have been getting info from, it certainly wasnt in these
groups
