I have no idea how I fixed this last time but I managed to lose my entire
Inbox and I had a brand new WinMail to play with when I rebooted! Not
impressed.

I can't stand this! I've looked for a fix and I don't have time to mess
around with investigating Microsoft's problems. They have a fault and they
should fix it!

Does anyone know how to fix this without going to technical or making me
lose my emails?

This issue has been discussed countless times on this forum
and if you put a fraction of the effort into searching for the
solution as you waste in ranting your problem would be solved.

You are incorrect in blaming Microsoft for the problem as
it is known to be the result of running incompatible
Antivirus software such as Norton or McAfee. If you
must blame someone try your PC manufacturer or ISP
who are the usual villains since they took the bribe
to include the crapware in their packages.

Now, calm down and do a simple search of this forum
for other occurences of "message stuck in outbox"
and follow the instructions therein.

When you have sorted that out get rid of the
crapware such as Norton or McAfee antivirus from
your system. Avast make a good, free alternative.

Oh yeah? Well it's happening to me and I'm using
OneCare Live. So either way you look at it, it's Microsoft's
fault.

If it makes you feel any better, I was also using OneCare when I
experienced my first stuck email in WM's outbox. My theory is
that although the McAfee/Norton antivirus programs are the
primary culprit, there are also other factors that can cause it.
