We use Exchange 5.5 SP4. Some users on the CW version of Outlook2000 notice
that when they are at the Inbox screen, unless they select one of the
existing messages, it takes a long time for new messages to appear in the
Inbox. If an existing message is selected or another folder (any change
from idle), it seems the mail server is polled and any new messages
immediately appear. These guys are using Exchange profiles (no Internet
Mail) so their messages should appear without hitting Send/Receive and the
like. Any ideas on why this occurs? Thanks in advance!
