I've upgrade to Live Messenger and the setting is easy to find in that
version so it's okay.
|I want to know how to do this as well, but I can't find Extra -> Options ->
| History in my copy of Windows Messenger.

| I can see Tools + Options on my Windows Messenger menu (not Extra +
| Options), but my Tools + Options dialog doesn't have a History tab. The
tabs
| it has are personal, phone, preferences, privacy and connection. How can I
| get access to the Extra -> Options -> History menu you mentioned?
