Message Highlighting

When I select any message in WM it is highlighted in a very pale blue-green
color. Is there a way to change that blue-green to some other color that
provides more contrast? I can barely see which message is selected. Thanks.

That was complained about during beta testing. You can see what good the
complaints did.

Yep, I remember those complaints well.
The contrast of the selected message in the message list gets even fainter when
the focus is shifted to the preview pane. Even worse than that, when the preview
pane is the focus, the current folder in the folder list is just about indiscernible.

The Windows Title gives the newsgroup.
