Hi Ron

Firstly can I thank you for the help you have already given it has been
really useful (I could not have done without it). I am in the process of
redoing the entire compnay website and - to put it bluntly, it's difficult.

You sent me the codes in answer to my post "Dependant form displays" on
3/23/2007 and I have made a form by copying and changing some of the code.
BUT it seems I have made a mistake. The form works - but it's very slow on
the selection dropdown.

If you select "event" you will seee the next section takes a second or two
and I hoped it would be as quick as the sample you sent me.

If you have time please would you look at the code and advise me of any
errors you see to enable to dropdown to speed up.

Many many thanks again.

At first glance, I can see nothing wrong with the code. The first click
on the control is very slow in IE7, but is OK in Firefox and Opera (even
in IE mode). Subsequent clicks are at normal speed.

I will check more carefully later.

Many thanks

I did try to copy the code just as you sent it - but >>> LoL. Not too good
at this stuff.

Did you change something? I can't see any difference, but this morning
the page is working as I would expect in all browsers - IE6 and 7,
Firefox 2, Opera 9*, Mozilla 1.3 on Linux.
The page also had several opened <divs> with no closing tags.
There was a problem with Opera, now corrected - see below.
There are no text colours or background colour defined.

A revised version of the page can be found at
http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/pages/test_app.htm

which does work in Netscape 8, and has had a few presentation touches
added.

Thanks

I will look at it in the morning in the office.

Oh and the server chaps are going to sort the encripting for the e mails you
mentioned last time.

Many thanks again

Oh - sorry about this

if you have time - the same code. Can it be used a number of times on the
same form.

Basically I "think" I understand the basic functions now but I have tried to
copy the code to any drop down and it does not work.

On the page you sent me it would be
Ben Nevis event

Do you require transport

I would like the minland / N Ireland only to show if the anyswer was yes

Any suggestions - soory about the number of questions
