Hi Bob1
Got your answer regarding my problem:-
"I have an ASPIRE Laptop, with Windows XP installed on it, the proble
is
that the cd rom will not "respond" i put a disc in, the cursor changes
to a spinning cd, then nothing, i can't eithen re-install the driver
(as the drive won't work.
Any ideas...please, (hopefuly apart from buying another cd rom - that
there might be a simple reason)"
To which you replied:-
"Given the issues you have with removable media, perhaps the problem i
something like Norton Auto Protect causing the interference"
Please could you be more specific (me being thick and all), could yo
tell me how to disable it if that is possible
i'm sorry to keep bothering you
Many thanks Bob
