Message can't be deleted

I have a message in my Inbox that cannot be deleted. When I try to delete it
a worning window says "An unknown error has occurred".
Please advise.
 
If any message can't be moved or deleted, apply this Microsoft fix:

Although that article only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.

Incidentally, that fix was also included in Vista's SP1, so if you haven't
installed that, you are way overdue.

I have exactly the same problem and the fix did not help. This is a specific
email message 'sender unknown' which will not open. or move or delete.

I tried to install theHotFix and it said the following were not installed.
What can I do to get rid of a message that will not Send.

Update your version Vista to Service Pack 1 or 2 and that fixes the problem.
