Ok, 'I'm a MESH Victim' and should be slapped around very creully for being such a brainless blind **** for buying a PC from this wretched organisation.
Thus, in the interests of the safety of future PC buyers, I believe that these potential buyers should be made aware that they are in serious danger of having some really nasty problems should anything go wrong with their new purchase.
First off, when I ordered my new PC some 3 months ago, it took over a month to be delivered when in actual fact they said it would be within 14 days when I ordered it.
Second, my internal Blu-RayDVD-Writer has packed in. So I called customer support at MESH and the guy wasn't able to help me resolve the problem. So, they wanted me to return the whole PC back to base, thus taking me out of action for 10 days. I said this was unacceptable and that I couldn't afford to be out of action for '10 days' which would more than likely (judging by past experience) take a whole lot longer than this.
So, after some deliberation they suggested that I just return the offending part (the DVD) back to base instead. So, I removed it and packaged it up nice and snug, ready to b esipped back to base.
And what has really 'pi**ed' me off is that the letter I've just received from Mesh (along with the Green label) explaining to me that I have to pay £20+VAT for carriage of the said item. So, I got on the phone to customer services and explained that this too is unacceptable, and the woman then explained that it was now just outside the 3 month period which means I have to now pay for carriage and that it "says so in the Terms & Conditions".
In other words they have me by the short & curlies and there is nothing I can do about it. So there'.
So, there is my detailed explanation as to why I think MESH needs to be exposed for their crap service.
Cheers
Allan
