Merging WXP Pro into W2K Active Directory

Whenenver I rey to merge my new pc into the domain /
active directory I get the following error, please help.

Host (A) records that map the name of the domain
controller to its IP addresses are missing or contain
incorrect addresses.
 
On the DC, make sure you delete any previous computer account with the same
name. Also take a look in the Event Viewer on both the DC and the client
computer and report back any extra error messages.
