Is there any way to merge two seperate reports in MS Access? I have two
reports that I want to make into one report and then print. I can not use
the subreport feature.

Karl,

Thanks for the suggestion but I think I am stuck. The reports I am using
already have subreports and both get information through an OBDC connection.
So trying to make these reports as subreports did not work. I will have to
look at merging the reports after it has printed. Thanks for your help.

Lamar,

There is no merging after they have been printed, at least not in Access
format. You can add a report as a subreport and the fact that your getting
the data thru an OBDC connection really plays no role in make a report a
subreport, so what happens when you try?

Gina,

I open a new report in design view and add two other reports as subreports.
This is done in the Detail Section. Should make each subreport have its own
Group Header?

One of the subreport is fine but needs formatting. The other subreport does
not show up. My IT did tell me that query both type of the information at
the same time could be problematic. Through the ODBC connection I am
accessing a SQL server. I am accessing two different table on the same SQL
server but at the same time (the queries are running at the same time). I am
open to any suggestions. Thanks.

Lamar,

You already have one report.. so open up the report you want first... then
take the report you want second and place in the Report Footer. Above that
report put a Page Break. That should take care of showing the reports.

As for the pulling of the data, not sure why that would be a problem must be
a network issue. How much data is it returning?

Gina,

Done as you suggested. Here are the issues:

1) Here is the message I get: Run-time error '2451' The report name 'Claim
History' you entered is misspelled or refers to a report that isn's open or
doesn't exist. Here is what it wants me to debug:

Reports![Claim History]![Benefit Payment History
subreport].Report![txtBWE1].Visible = (Me.txtPage = 2)

'Claim History' is a report added as a subreport at the bottom of my first
report as you suggested . 'Claim History' has a subreport in it named
'Benefit Payment History subreport'. These reports exist so I do not know
why it is saying that 'Claim History' is the problem.

Any suggestions.

Lamar,

Pardon delay but it's movie night and I need the break! Yes I do but I need
a few names and in this order....

Main Report
If Main Report has any subreports in Detail section...
Subreport added to footer
If Subreport has any subreports in Detail section...

Where is txtBWE1?
