Merging files

Hello,

Is there an easy way to merge data files in Access? The
data is all in the same format. I just need to merge it
all into one file.

Hi Michael,

It depends on what you mean by "data files". But in general:

1) open the database you want to merge the data into.

2) use File|Get External Data|Link to create linked tables accessing the
data in the other files.

3) create a series of Append queries to append the data from the linked
tables into the table(s) where you want it.

i've tried merged all data from same field but different
databse... still can link the data.. help me...
