merging databases into a web site

I have been told it is possible to export a database (excel or cvs) into a
web page. I think it is something like Ebay's turbolister.

I have not been able to find out any information about this.

Are there programmers or computer techs able to create this type of merge or
should I quit looking for someone to hire.

I have used Excel for merges to documents but this is way out of my knowledge.
