Apologies for not identifying this as the proper forum for this question
earlier. It already appeared in "general," but received no response. It is
not my intention to double post, but I really need an answer here.
In a small network (2 stations) for the two people in the office, each has
contact lists, but occasionally want to do a mailing to all their clients,
for which they have a "general" profile set up. We merged both their
individual contact lists into this list, carefully specifying not to
duplicate records when the wizard offered us that option. We got duplicate
records anyway. Can you suggest how to avoid such duplicates in the future?
An additional problem is that their setup has stopped offering the option of
choosing the network or individual profiles when Outlook is opened. We have
specified and applied the option to prompt for profile when the program is
opened, but the software does not respond. Can you offer an idea of why this
might be the case?
