Merging address cells

I created an excel list of addressess, with one column
containing the street number, and an adjacent column
containing the corresponding street name. Is there a way
to merge the two so they end up in a single column? I
then need to import the data into a maping program, which
requires the address and street name to be in on field.

Insert a new column and use this formula :-

=A1&" "&B1
