Merge to Email fails

Hi, just noticed that Word 2010 has a little primitive ability to
email merge docs. Nothing happens mind! I only get a message from
Outlook re possible naughty app intrusion when I select I want the
merged doc as attachment but still nothing happens when I allow it to
go through. What must I set to get this working please?
