merge media files

with windows media player 9

is there any way to merge the media files to play small
movies back to back as one long movie?

or at least get them to play one after another?

maybe im just missing something obvious here

If you want to play them one after another, at least on
your own computer, you can make a 'playlist.' You open
both video files at once from explorer, of open media
player then drag each file into the 'now playing' list on
the right. After this, select the clip names, right
click, and 'add to playlist.' You can make a new
playlist from the resulting window. After that, you can
edit the list from 'media library' on the left list of
screens.

This won't make them play in a row on another computer,
like the movie maker method would, though.
