Hi, I am kind of new to access and have run into a
problem. I have 4 columns all with numbers in them, say A
B C and D. I want to merge the contents of A B and C into
one column and keep D the same. For ex if I have 1 under
A, 2 under B 3 under C and 4 under D I want to see 123 in
the first column and 4 in the second column of the query.
I have no idea if this is even possible but I would
appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks in advance
Kathy

Create Query In design view using your table
for the 1st field, drag down the "*" and uncheck the box
for "show".
For the second field on the field line;
Combine: [a] & & [c]
Just set [d] for your 3rd field.
You should end up with 2 columns when you run your
query. "Combine" with 123 as the result and "d".

Good luck,
Jen

Worked thanks
