Menus don't follow db? - MDE

I have created an MDE from a database in which I have removed the use of
"full menus" on start up and removed several of the menu choices
alltogether - e.g. I removed the Edit and Insert menu choices alltogether in
Form view.
When I log onto the db on one computer the choices are indeed gone. When I
log onto the db on another computer - entering the db as exactly the same
user - the choices are still there.
How can this be computer specific? If the choice is removed from the db on
one system - shouldn't it be gone on all systems?
By the way - the computers are running the exact same version of Access
(XP).
The db was converted from an older version to version 2002 and then the MDE
was created.
Please Help! This is very important.
Thanks in advance.

If you modify the built in menus and toolbars that is a "User-Preference"
setting on the local machine. You would see those changes in every file (on
that machine).

To get customized menus and toolbars that "follow the file" you have to create
NEW ones.
