menu that appears whenever a cd is inserted or device is connected

Helloo

Recently my dad's PC was repaired due to a faulty motherboard and we
had to have windows reinstalled at the same time by the repair man. The
problem with this is that I have had to restore some of the settings
that my dad previously had. I have managed most of them except for
one....

Normally when you insert a CD into the CD drive, a menu appears with a
list of options e.g.


Play the CD
Rip music off the CD
Copy the CD
take no action
(or similar...not sure of exact options)

A similar menu also normally appears when you connect his digital
camera to copy the photos off the memory card of the camera.

How do you make this menu appear each time e.g a cd is inserted or the
camera is connected? My dad isn't the most computer literate person and
in the past this has been the easiest method of getting pictures off his
camera etc...

Any help would be appreciated here as I cannot figure out how to get
the menus to appear!!
 
1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center".
2. In the Search box type: AUTOPLAY , and hit enter.
3. Click on: "Change how your computer handles multimedia content".
