menu hangs part 2

In my previous message, I detailed a problem I am having
system wide, where when I go into a folder (such as My
Documents) I cannot delete other folders. When I right-
click on a folder, the system hangs. This is not the case
with invidual files, just folders. It even happens when I
go into "My computer" and right click on the C: drive to
see properties - the menu doesn't load and the system
hangs.

Any ideas what is going on?
 
First off, don't start new threads that are related to your original thread.
It makes it hard for people to follow..Okay, enough said about that.
I want to understand what you have going on. First, you are unable to
delete folders, and second, when trying to right click the same folders, the
computer hangs. What is your file system?

You cannot delete a file or folder in a NTSF files system,

Sorry I wasn't clear in my question. I was wondering what your file system
is, not your operating system. Your file system would be either NTSF, or
FAT32. The first link I provided was in regards to a NTSF files system.
