Hi,
For some reason, everytime I open a new window,5 sec
after opening my cursor jumps about 3 inches for no
reason, causing me to endlessly end up clicking on
something I didnt want to. it doesnt matter what mouse i
have connected, or what programs, or screen I am in.
Any ideas?!?!
Thanks,
Nic

Download and install the latest Windows XP drivers for your
video card/display adapter. If the problem does not cease, its
likely you have a defective video card/display adapter.

It's not due to a "snap to" setting for your Pointer Options, is it (visit
the Control Panel, Mouse section)? That's a setting that takes your cursor
and moves it to a default box for any given window. Just an idea, but your
problem sounds a bit different.
