Hello
do you know Memtest86 RAM's diagnostic software? Ok, and do you know also if
the programs says something like "Congratulations! Your RAM is tested
error-free!" if RAM's test gone ok? :-)
So, how can I make to notice that the test has gone good with Memtest? There
is any message on the screen?

Thank you so much
Mirko

Yes....No, it does not....No errors reported....No.

Look at the number of passes, if it's one or higher and no errors are listed your all set.

It does not display a message at all. The complete test is ran by pressing
"c" "2" "3" "Enter" after loading Memtest. This may take eight hours or more
to complete, with 512MB of RAM.

Many times I've had to leave it running for several hours to catch memory
errors, or in worst, borderline cases, it passed for over a day but only
showed errors by raising memory bus a few MHz, which is a good second test
since there should be a margin for stability built into any system.
