Memos and subpages

First off, please let me apologize for asking simple questions, but I am
still attempting to learn this new Access.
I unfortunately have several questions that I am confused on, especially
when trying to understand some of MS's information.
1. I am using the Business Contact Template that comes with the program. I
want to either add a subpage or maybe link to word. I have to be able to keep
notes on each contact but it needs to be kept separated from the contacts
list. I am not sure that I should use an extra table and do a relationship or
how to go about doing this.

2. I want to make what I use to call a start page. This is where you start
the db and a form will come up and you have a choice of making a selection
of what to do? For example, do I want to start a new customer, locate the
records for a customer, or different type print requirements.

3.The last question. I am running Vista Home Premium, when I try to run the
tutorial movies, they will not run. I have to download them and then use
Media player. I have the Silverlight installed, any suggestion on this?

Thank you for your rapid response. I will attempt using the information you
have provided as I do not see why it would not work.
I will get back in touch with you and let you know how I make out.
