Memory upgrade

I need to upgrade my memory to at least 256mb, but i
don't wanna pay the high price on the HP website. How
can i know if something off of ebay is going to be
compatible?

Is your System AMD or Intel? Do you use Sdram, DDR or Rambus? You can go
here and do a Memory Configuration
www.crucial.com They have very good memory also.
