Hiya,

I'm after some good memory for my A7N8X Deluxe, want to try a bit of
overclocking, but not totally into it.

I was thinking of Twinmos, as the price difference between Twinmos and
Corsair (both for PC3200 and 2 x 512MB) is £114 for the Twinmos and for
Corsair 512MB DDR Platinum XMS3200 CAS2, its £148...

Can't really afford the Corsair, but is it really worth it?

Thanks,

Ben

If you can`t afford the Corsair then you can`t obviously afford anything you
fry by overclocking.

Twinmos with Winbond CH5 is the one to go for.

Corsair is more likely to be able to reach the speeds you could achieve with
the Winbond - you gets what you pays for.

Depends on what you want to do, for the most part you should be able to hit
over 200MHz FSB, maybe 220MHz with the Rev2.0 board - if you can still run
CAS2 then great.

What procesor and RAM do you currently have?
